Abdulahi Umar Faruk is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the b/kebbi/kalgo/bunza Federal Constituency of Kebbi State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

EDUCATION: He attended Giginya Memorial Teachers College and obtained Teachers Grade II Certificate. He then proceeded to Niger State Polytechnic where he obtained a Diploma Certificate.
OCCUPATION: Abdulahi Umar Faruk worked as a civil servant between 1986 and 1991 at Sokoto, then kebbi state from 1991-1996. He moved into private practice and pitched with African Projects Construction between 1996 and 2000.
CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: In the year 2003, Abdulahi Umar Faruk was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the b/kebbi/kalgo/bunza Federal Constituency of Kebbi State. He was re-elected in 2003 and 2015. His legislative interests covers education and infrastructural development. He targets to maintain active participation in passage of bills and committee activities.
