EDUCATION:He attended Florida State University in Miami, United States for his first degree in Architecture between 1977 and 1981. For his graduate studies in Architecture, he was at the famous Morgan State in Baltimore from 1981 to 1984, and was awarded an M.Sc.
CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi (Odundun II) formally ascended the throne as the 47th Deji of Akure Kingdom.
Oba Aladelusi’s great grandfather, Odundun I ascended the throne in 1882, about one hundred and thirty three years ago. His demise gave way to the reign of the more than one hundred years dynasty of the Adesidas from Ojijigogun royal lineage, starting with Oba Afunbiowo Adesida I, who was the monarch of the city from 1897 to 1957, a period of sixty years. It was the longest uninterrupted rulership in the history of Africa’s royal institutions.
