EDUCATION: He obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) from West African Peoples Institute, Calabar in 1986. He obtained National Diploma (ND)Certificate and Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate, in 1988 and 1991 respectively from a polytechnic in Calabar.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:  In the year 2003, Edim Etta Mbora was elected into the Cross River State House of Assembly, and he held the office until the year 2007. In 2007, he became the Chairman of Calabar Municipal Council, a position he held until 2013.

In the year 2015, Edim was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Calabar Munincipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
