Femi Gbajabiamila is a Nigerian lawyer, Politician, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and House Leader of Nigeria’s 8th House of Representatives. He also emerged Speaker of the Nigeria’s 9th Federal House of Representatives.

Gbajabiamila has always been actively involved in politics, even in the United States where he actively participated in the election of Bill Campbell who later went on to become Mayor of the city of Atlanta. It was therefore not surprising that on his return to Nigeria Gbajabiamila situated himself in the political affairs of his constituents and recognized that they would be better served if he had a chance to represent them at the House of Representatives.
Gbaja Biamila was elected to the House in 2003, and re-elected in 2007. He represents the Surulere I constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives. He is the House’s Majority Leader.

He suggested that many voters don’t have access to the information to make choices based on every individual stance, and therefore are sometimes only voting for candidates based on their party alignment.
