EDUCATION: He obtained his General Certificate Of Education (G.C.E) from College of Immaculate Conception, Enugu in the year 1983. He attended University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology in the year 1989. In 1998, he obtained a post graduate diploma Certificate in Business Administration. He further studied for his Masters Degree (mkt/pr).

HONORS AND AWARDS: Jones Chukwudi Victor Onyereri is an Ambassador of goodwill to the state of Ankasas USA. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Administrators.  Won a best legislator Award in Imo from 1999- 2015. Also Best Legislator-Disciples of democracy.
