EDUCATION: He attended Mount Saint Gabriel School Makurdi. He studied Building at the University of Jos, and proceeded to University of Liverpool for his post-graduate studies.
CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: After his studies, Mark Gbillah served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cyrosure Global Ltd, a company whose object clause includes construction, international and local consultancy, real estate, international franchise, telecommunications, agriculture, etc. He was a consultant to Huawei, Syngenta, Trussnet etc. He was also the AG COO/ Head of Operations, Broron Group USA/ Nigeria, an international telecommunications service company that is based in the United States and Nigeria. Gbilla also served as the head of project management & implementation of Mobitel Ltd, Lagos, a project management, contract negotiation & management, planning and strategy company. He worked with Itelios Towers Nigeria as project manager. At Airtel Nigeria, he was a project specialist.
In the year 2015, Mark Gbilla was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Gwer East/Gwer West Federal Constituency of Benue State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His legislative interests include appropriation and procurement processes, anti corruption, telecommunication services and infrastructure, effective oversight, public and private sector accountability, constitutional control of herdsmen, security and defense.
