Introduction
Ede is a Nigerian politician and accountant. He is the Chair of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Export Promotion Group (MANEG) and currently serves as the Chair of ICAEW’s Members Advisory Board for Africa. He is a Trustee of the Guild of Fine Artists of Nigeria.
Ede Dafinone previously was Member of National Broadcasting Commission of Nigeria and Chairman for Nigerian Conservation Foundation. He is on the board of NEM Insurance Plc and Associate Member at Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Deputy Managing Partner at Howarth Dafinone (Nigeria).
The Dafinone family are in the Guinness Book of Records for having the highest number of members of a nuclear family as members of ICAEW. Ede’s father, himself and his four siblings all being members of the Institute.

Career
Ede is the Crowe Horwath International liaison partner. He joined the firm in 1989 from Touche Ross & Co. in London and has over 30 years of professional experience.
Over the years he has been involved as the engagement partner on numerous consulting and audit assignments. His experience in corporate advisory includes initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring schemes, valuation exercises, feasibility studies, financial turnarounds, valuation of infrastructure projects, corporate restructuring and strategic planning.
