How Was Cross River State Created

Cross River State is a coastal state in South Eastern Nigeria,  Located in the Niger Delta, Cross River State occupies 20,156 square kilometers. It shares boundaries with Benue State to the north, Enugu and Abia States to the west, to the east by Cameroon Republic and to the south by Akwa-Ibom and the Atlantic Ocean.

How Was Borno State Created

Borno State was created formed in February 3, 1976 by the Murtala Mohamed out of the then North-Eastern State. Until August 1991, it contained what is now Yobe State. It’s capital is Maiduguri.

How Was Benue State Created

Benue State was created on February 3, 1976 by the then regime of General Murtala Mohammed, out of the old Benue-Plateau State. The capital is Makurdi.
