Aniocha North is one of the existing Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. It falls under the North Senatorial Districts of Delta State and shares borders with Edo State, Oshimili North LGA, Aniocha South and Ika North -East LGA.
It comprises of different wards, villages and towns that make up the community, and the administrative head which is the Executive Chairman is in charge of grass root development in the LGA. Its headquarters are in the town of Issele Ukwu.

It comprises Igbo speaking people and towns. It has an area of 406 km2 and a population of 104,711 at the 2006 census.
