Rahama Ibrahim Sadau was born on December 7, 1992 in Kaduna, Nigeria. She spent most of her life in Kaduna State, where she lived with her parents and attended Kaduna Polytechnic. Sadau has a degree in Business Administration. Rahama admitted that she wanted to become an actress ever since she was little. While she was attending primary and secondary school, she went to dance classes, but dreamt of something bigger. In 2013, Sadau actually got her chance to realise her dream, and she took it.

She met Ali Nuhu, who introduced her to the world of acting. Despite the fact that her parents did not really like the idea of their daughter going into the movie industry, Rahama went on to star in the movie called Gani Ga Wane. And that was the moment that changed her life.

Rahama Sadau is the most followed female kannywood actress with over 600 thousand followers on instagram and 90 Thousand plus on twitter. In 2017, she became the first Hausa speaking female Celebrity to appear in the top ten Hottest Female Nigeria Celebrities.

Perhaps one of the things that made Rahama so famous is her conflict with the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, otherwise known as MOPPAN.

In early October 2016, she starred in a music video with the rapper ClassiQ, where the two were seen hugging and smiling at each other. A year later, Rahama delivered her letter of apology to MOPPAN, where she apologised for her inappropriate behaviour. However, the Association is torn whether to grant her pardon or not, as the actress has been violating her expulsion by starring in several movies since 2016 and allegedly badmouthing MOPPAN.
