Adamawa State is a state in the North-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria and one of the largest states of Nigeria and occupies about 36,917 square kilometers. Adamawa State shares boundaries and border with the states of Borno to the northwest, Gombe to the west, and Taraba to the southwest. Its eastern border forms part of the national border with Cameroon across the Atlantica Mountains for about 712 km.
